DÉTOUR APP

The Conseil d’Architecture d’Urbanisme et de l’Environnement (CAUE) of Paris undertakes to ensure that the collection and processing of personal data, carried out using this application, complies with law no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 as amended relating to computing, files and freedoms, and European Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016.

 

Personal data management

The personal information that the CAUE of Paris collects via the application comes from its voluntary communication by individuals by entering the application. As part of the DETOUR application, the email address and name of the user are the personal data collected.

The CAUE of Paris is the data controller and it does not transmit this data to any recipient, which is reserved for the use of its services only for the implementation of the DETOUR application. No data collected is transferred outside the European Union.

The personal data provided are subject to computer processing but are not subject to automated decision-making or profiling. They are only kept within the limit imposed by the purpose of the processing: until the user account is deleted.

Location data

It should be noted that use of the application involves the collection of information relating to the user's geolocation, after prior collection of their authorization via acceptance of permissions on their phone.

The purpose of this data is exclusively to guide DETOUR users on walking routes, and towards remarkable points of interest in local heritage.

Apart from the routes or the creation of a route to a point of interest, the location data of mobile users is in no way recorded or retained by the CAUE of Paris nor by its partners. They are not transmitted to any third party either.

At any time, the user can revoke their consent and revoke the authorization they have granted for their location, by modifying their phone settings.

Your rights

In accordance with the legal framework on the protection of personal data in force (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR of April 27, 2016 and Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978 as amended), you benefit from a right of access, rectification, limitation of information that concerns you. You can also define the fate of your data after your death. You can also withdraw your consent at any time.

A copy of the personal data concerning you may be provided to you, upon your request. However, the CAUE of Paris has the possibility of opposing manifestly abusive requests, in particular by their number, their repetitive or systematic nature.
