The DÉTOUR application offers an architectural, urban and landscape discovery of the Parisian territory. It's about inviting Parisians to get out of their homes and look at their city differently, to take an interest in their built and natural heritage, ordinary or exceptional, to discover new neighborhoods, new roads, new passages...
This application allows walkers to visit, to walk, to cycle, to take the time to learn and understand how the city is made, in a fun and entertaining way. It is an application serving people who want to discover the Parisian territory for themselves and get off the beaten track.
Features developed in the application
→ GPS guidance allowing you to be guided along the route, but also to be informed about surrounding offers and services.
→ GPS guidance can also allow access to the starting point of the route by public transport, by bike or on foot when possible.
→ Descriptive features of the roaming offered: access, distance, difficulty, elevation, maps, time, loop, route calculation to get to an offer, etc.
→ Multimedia content (audio and video) which allows the mediation of points of interest
→ The possibility of generating links to the web (provided you are connected) to obtain more information or have access to particular illustrations.
→ A quiz-type game that allows you to test your knowledge on the course
→ Augmented reality which allows you to discover the landscape in a fun and innovative way
→ The 360° image to promote immersion in certain places, and the possible enrichment of the image with old photos, reconstructions etc...
User rights and obligations
By accessing, visiting and/or using the Application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms, as well as agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.
You agree to access the information on the Application for personal, non-commercial use only.
You may only use the application for a legitimate purpose; no use or diversion is authorized.
Limitation of responsibilities
Furthermore, the Council of Architecture, Urban Planning and the Environment of Paris declines all responsibility in the event of damage of any nature whatsoever caused to users, their terminals, their computer and telephone equipment and the data which are stored there.
The limited liability of the publisher regarding hypertext links
The hypertext links set up to other websites or mobile applications cannot engage the responsibility of the CAUE de Paris, in particular with regard to the content of these sites and mobile applications and in particular, the commercial offers which may be offered to you.
The decision to activate the links lies exclusively with the users of the mobile application.
Intellectual property
The CAUE of Paris owns the intellectual property rights or holds the usage rights on all elements accessible on the application, in particular texts, images, graphics, logos, icons, sounds, software.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, adaptation of all or part of the elements of the application, whatever the means or process used, is prohibited without prior written authorization from the CAUE of Paris.
Applicable law and competent jurisdiction
Any dispute relating to the use of the application is subject to French law.
The T&Cs are subject to French law, the only law applicable in this matter.
Any conflict or dispute that may arise regarding the interpretation and/or application of the T&Cs which cannot be resolved amicably must be submitted to the competent French courts to resolve the dispute.
